This guide shows you how to set up the schedule of an OSCE in Valuatic Studio and how the examiners use it on the exam day in Valuatic Touch. It follows one example exam from start to finish.

The Example Exam
The example exam has 32 candidates. They are split into a morning and an afternoon session with 16 candidates each, and each session uses its own six cases.
Sixteen candidates are too many for one circuit, so each session runs two rotations in parallel: a blue and a yellow one with eight candidates each. That makes four rotations: Morning - Blue, Morning - Yellow, Afternoon - Blue and Afternoon - Yellow.
Each rotation has eight candidates but only six cases, so two break stations are needed. To give the examiners a short break as well, a ghost candidate is added to each rotation. The ghost needs a place to start, which adds a third break station: every rotation ends up with nine stations and takes nine rounds.

Steps
- Prepare the Content — activate scheduling, create the tags and tag your content.
- Create a Rotation — create the first rotation and adjust its stations.
- Duplicate Rotations — use the first rotation as the blueprint for the other three.
- Perform the Exam — select the station, assess the candidates and finalize the station in Valuatic Touch.
Note: Make sure your project already contains the forms, examiners, and candidates you need. You don’t need everything upfront; examiners and candidates can still be added or adjusted later.
